A veritable powerhouse and icon in the motoring world is the German high-performance automobile manufacturer Porsche. Porsche was founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche with two other partners. Arguably Porsche’s most popular model is the Porsche 911 and pronounced Nine Eleven in German. The 911 has been in production since 1964, and it is a two-door 2+2 high-performance rear-engined sports car. Porsche’s homologation in the form of the GT3 variant boosts the car to exhilarating performance numbers.

Exterior and Interior
Bedecked in a stunning Meteor Gray Metallic paint, this 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 glides like a shadow on the roads. It sits on a set of special GT3 branded 10-spoke wheels painted in silver, behind which lurk the red-painted brake calipers with the Porsche lettering in white. The front fascia features Bi-Xenon headlights for that extra luminescence while driving. The windshield sports rain-sensing wipers. The rear is host to a rear spoiler body color painted. Apart from the GT3 lettering on the trunk lid and the Porsche badge on the front, this 911 GT3 is devoid of any other ornamentation. The interior features black leather seats with Alcantara and matching black floor mats with interior colored trim. DVD-based GPS navigation is onboard along with the Sound Package Plus with a CD player on the shelf and a 5.8” screen. A carbon-fiber interior package has also been applied. Auto-dimming mirrors are standard on the 911. A fire extinguisher is also in place for emergencies.

Engine
The best of this 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 is the powerplant under the hood. The 3.6L flat-six engine whilst mated to a 6-speed manual transmission can clock in 4.1 seconds in the 0-60 mph with a top speed of 193 mph. A sports exhaust with center tailpipes is in place. A limited-slip differential or LSD is also part of the GT3 upgrade. Porsche has added their PCM (Porsche Management System) and PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) into the mix for the utmost control of the car on the road. All-wheel disc brakes with perforated and slotted discs are in place for maximum stopping power.
